Khakhra Program
One of the core purposes of Gramshree is to make underprivileged women self-reliant through facilitating them with the required tools and information to flourish. The Khakhra Training Program is a 30-day skill upliftment initiative organized by Gramshree with the support of the Share & Care Foundation in rural stretches and urban slums of Gujarat.
Our team of compassionate humans visits the state’s interiors and encourages women to earn sustenance for their family’s welfare. The Khakhra Program trains women to cook the folk snack of Gujarat, Khakhra. Subsequently, Gramshree connects the trained women to a market where they can independently perform their business.
The noble Khakhra Training Program organized in Jakhwada, Rudatal, and Kada (villages of Gujarat, India) has successfully touched the lives of 140+ women, out of which 35 have become seasoned entrepreneurs prospering in their lives with the skills they learned.
